Introduction 介紹
KKman is an HTTP/Telnet browser based on Microsoft Internet Explorer Component and is widely used among Taiwanese young. Friendly user interfaces and excellent support of Traditional Chinese environment result in a number of more than 200 thousand KKman users today. However KKman uses a fictional protocol scheme called bbs:// which is equivalent to telnet:// and the latter one will be replaced with the former one automatically by the software when displaying URL. Consequently, it has misled many people to believe there really exists a protocal scheme of bbs:// while telnet:// is the real one defined by some international standard organization. To educate people the right thing, I had then made this patch to eliminate everything about the fake protocol scheme in KKman, and friends of mine suggest me to release it so more can benefit. After writing a mail to the software company of KKman and receiving no reponses, I decided to push my program to the public.
KKman 是一套以 Microsoft Internet Explorer 為核心所整合起來的 HTTP/Telnet 雙用途瀏覽器，在台灣的年輕網路族群當中廣受歡迎。KKman 友善的介面以及出色的正體中文支援在今天為其吸引了超過二十萬名的用戶。然而 KKman 使用了一個虛構的協定名稱「bbs://」，其實代表的是「telnet://」，並且該套軟體會自動將含有「telnet://」的網址內容自動替代成「bbs://」，彷彿「bbs://」才是正確的協定名稱一般。這種機制誤導了許多的使用者認為真有「bbs://」這種協定存在，其實「telnet://」才是制定國際標準的組織所定義的。為了告訴這些被誤導的人正確的觀念，我決定撰寫此修補程式用以移除 KKman 當中所有與這個偽協定名稱有關的東西。最初的設定用戶是我身邊的朋友，不過他們之中很多人都告訴我應該將此程式推廣至網路上，而在我寫信給開發 KKman 的軟體公司卻沒有任何回覆的情況下決定將此程式公諸於世。
